The NASP Education Committee welcomes submission of original or encore research relevant to specialty pharmacy, outcomes related to specialty pharmacy products, or services provided by specialty pharmacies. Accepted abstracts will be presented at the NASP 2021 Annual Meeting & Expo to be held September 27 – 30, 2021 and published online through the PubMed-indexed Journal of Drug Assessment.
All abstracts must be submitted online by July 1, 2021.

Your abstract should be a short description of your research/work in specialty pharmacy, containing all the elements necessary to define your goals and results to the reader. Authors will be required to disclose all financial relationships through the online system, helping to ensure quality and unbiased presentations. Continuing education credits are not available for the posters.

Note: Abstract submissions must reflect completed research. Submissions of previously presented research are permitted.
The Education Committee will evaluate the abstracts based on the following criteria: novelty of the research, significance of the findings, relevance to specialty pharmacy, and clarity. Incomplete abstracts will not be accepted.
The title of the abstract should be no longer than 50 characters, body of the abstract no longer than 2,500 characters.
Notification of acceptance or regret will be delivered via email to the presenter(s) of each poster abstract by August 6, 2021.
If your abstract has been previously presented at, or published for, a conference/congress, please include this information at the end of your abstract as “Previous Presentation/Publication.” No permission is needed for encore publication in the NASP 2021 Annual Meeting & Expo Research Presentation Abstracts book.
If accepted for presentation, abstracts and posters will be available for viewing during the NASP 2021 Annual Meeting & Expo. The posters will be displayed for the future duration of the meeting and announcement of the top posters will be made at the start of the general session on Wednesday morning, September 29, 2021. The presentation at the Annual Meeting & Expo must match the submitted abstract title, authorship, and content. Submission will also be published in the NASP 2021 Annual Meeting & Expo Research Presentation Abstracts Book.
At least one author must register to attend the NASP 2021 Annual Meeting & Expo, be identified on the abstract submission as the presenting author and is required to present during the poster session.
