The University of Michigan Student Health Service Pharmacy is looking for a temporary pharmacist to cover a staff absence. This ‘closed’ pharmacy only services students and staff of the University of Michigan.  Our #1 clientele are the students!  We do all we can to keep our patients happy and healthy throughout their tenure as a student at this University.

The timeframe and hours are excellent.  The candidate will start around the second week of August and work through at least the third week of September; however, this is subject to change. This will provide the selected candidate two weeks to learn QS1, meet the staff, and to train. The pharmacy is only open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm during the summer. No nights or weekends.

Responsibilities include checking prescriptions for accuracy, filling, ordering, and lots of counseling.  It is a very rewarding and fun job that deals with young people and educating them on how to take their medication.
