Temporary Pharmacist – The University of Michigan Student Health Service Pharmacy

The University of Michigan Student Health Service Pharmacy is looking for a temporary pharmacist to cover a staff absence. This ‘closed’ pharmacy only services students and staff of the University of Michigan.  Our #1 clientele are the students!  We do all we can to keep our patients happy and healthy throughout their tenure as a student at this University.  

The timeframe and hours are excellent.  The candidate will start around the second week of August and work through at least the third week of September; however, this is subject to change. This will provide the selected candidate two weeks to learn QS1, meet the staff, and to train. The pharmacy is only open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm during the summer. No nights or weekends. 

Responsibilities include checking prescriptions for accuracy, filling, ordering, and lots of counseling.  It is a very rewarding and fun job that deals with young people and educating them on how to take their medication. We have a large population of international students that are new to American healthcare and need lots of compassion in their mission on campus with various health issues (illness, depression, etc.)

Billing Representative – Specialty Pharmacy, Lyceum, Remote and Columbus, OH

We are seeking an experienced Billing Representative to join our Specialty Pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 – 5 years of experience in pharmacy billing and medical billing, with a strong understanding of reimbursement processes for specialty medications. Proficiency in CareTend or CPR+ is required. The candidate must also be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Registered Pharmacy Technician. This role is responsible for processing and managing pharmacy and medical claims, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement from insurance providers, PBMs, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health plans.

Outpatient Specialty Pharmacist, Kaleida Health Outpatient Pharmacy, Buffalo, NY

The Outpatient Specialty Pharmacists are trained on the specialty medications dispensed and medical conditions encountered in the unique patient population serviced. The position entails patient care and requires frequent use of clinical knowledge and discretion due to the complexity of the therapies and conditions they treat. The Outpatient Specialty Pharmacists are responsible for adherence to all Specialty Pharmacy patient care policies to ensure compliance with various required regulatory and accreditation patient care outcomes e.g. Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS), patient education/compliance, disease state management and other outcomes.
