Pharmacy Manager Clinical Operations and Accreditation – UVA Specialty Pharmacy, UVA Health, Charlottesville, VA

The Pharmacy Manager of Clinical Operations and Accreditation serves as a key leader within UVA Health’s Specialty Pharmacy, providing oversight of clinical pharmacist services and ensuring full compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. This role is responsible for managing and developing the clinical pharmacist team, overseeing chronic disease management programs, and fostering strong clinic relationships to support provider collaboration. The manager ensures that pharmacists in clinic settings deliver high-quality services such as evidence-based prescribing support and patient education. Contract Pharmacist, Nevada Health Authority, Remote

The Contract Pharmacist will perform clinical reviews of medical and outpatient clinical and
pharmacy utilization management criteria and cases using their clinical acumen and taking into
consideration program policies and state and federal regulations. They will assist with drug prior
authorization (PA) exception requests, appeals reviews, develop policies based upon clinical
guidelines, and conduct audits of the Medicaid pharmacy benefit across Fee-for-Service and
Managed Care Organizations (MCO). The Contract Pharmacist may be required to testify at
applicable appeals hearings, evaluate offsetting costs and advise on rebate program changes,
assist in the administration of the pharmacy benefit, and utilize shifts in utilization to recommend
changes to benefit design.
