Pharmacy Groups Say New Rebate Rule Does Not Do Enough to Support Patients

WASHINGTON, DC (November 24, 2020) – Today the country’s leading pharmacy groups issued this statement on the Trump administration’s new final rule on prescription drug rebates.

We are continuing to advocate for pharmacy DIR reform and congressional action as soon as this year, given that the administration has finalized a rebate rule. We will also be engaging the Biden transition team on the limitations of this rule and implications for specialty pharmacies and patients.
