Keith oversees all operational, sales and P&L responsibilities for the Azina team. He has over three decades of executive experience in retail pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, mail order hospital pharmacy, and pharmacy benefits management. Keith Cook obtained his BS in Pharmacy from the University of Kansas. Mr. Cook’s pharmacy career began in hospital pharmacy and later moved to retail pharmacy working for Walmart Stores Inc. for 23 years in various positions including the Walmart PBM business, the Mail Order Pharmacy, the Compliance and Persistency programs, as well as opening the Walmart Specialty Pharmacy. Finishing his career at Walmart, he was the senior buyer for all pharmacy OTC (consumer) products Sam’s Club for 3 years.

Mr. Cook worked at Cardinal Health on the Medicine Shoppe and Medicap franchise businesses. His team was responsible for negotiating all programs with branded pharmaceuticals, the OTC business, the specialty at retail business, the diabetic business, and the long term care business.

Prior to joining MedImpact in 2016, Keith Cook was most recently President of Avella Specialty Pharmacy from 2009 to 2015. With 30 years of experience in multiple areas of pharmacy practice, his strengths lie in team building, strategic planning, contract negotiations, project management, and training.

As the Vice President of MedImpact Direct Specialty Operations, Mr. Cook oversaw the specialty pharmacy hub operations and worked with other departments at MedImpact as well as directly with the client/payer and consultants to deliver a strong and competitive pharmacy benefit design solution
