PSI Recognition
In March, PSI received two recognitions for charitable excellence: the GuideStar Platinum Seal of Transparency and a 100/100 rating from Charity Navigator.
The GuideStar Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition, means we are committed to providing extensive information about our organization, such as goals, strategies, financial information, and more. You can check out on our profile here.
Charity Navigator updated their scoring system this year, and we rated 100/100. This new Encompass Rating System analyzes four areas of nonprofits: finance & accountability, impact & results, leadership & adaptability, and culture & community. You can now “Give with Confidence” knowing that PSI’s been independently evaluated for effectively stewarding donations! Visit our Charity Navigator profile here.

PSI welcomes two new board members!
In January, PSI elected two new board members to serve alongside our emeritus board team. Please welcome Denise Gloede and Lud Kimbrough. Their skills and expertise in healthcare, finance, and business development complement our current board members. We are already reaping the rewards of their knowledge though early collaboration on our strategic plan.
“It is an honor to serve as a new member of the PSI Board,” Denise said. “I am passionate about supporting patients and families living with serious or chronic illnesses. I was inspired by PSI’s programs and services which aim to enhance quality of life and ease the burden and stress these patients and families often face. This is life-changing work and it is a privilege to join the PSI team.”
Lud added, “It is the mission of PSI that inspires me to serve. Enabling those with chronic illness, rare diseases, or disability to live their best life by navigating complex healthcare and payment systems, and by providing financial assistance, truly betters the lives of others who are struggling. While working with the PSI team throughout the strategic planning process, I was tremendously impressed with their focus and dedication to making a positive impact on others. If I can support their efforts by serving on the Board then I will be gratified to have contributed in some small way to making a better future for others.”
