NASP Submits Comments on Producer Responsibility Packaging and Paper Products Regulations

NASP submitted comments on the proposed COMAR 26.04.14 – Packaging and Paper Products – Producer Responsibility. These comments supplement NASP’s initial submission on December 27, 2025 and reflect additional feedback from NASP members regarding the proposed regulation. NASP continues to urge the Maryland Department of the Environment ensure that packaging systems used for temperature-controlled prescription drugs and biologics are treated consistently within the exemption framework.
