The National Association of Specialty Pharmacy is pleased to announce a webinar presented by Pfizer, titled “Respiratory Vaccines in the Immunocompromised Patient Population.” During this webinar, Pfizer’s expert speakers will describe the epidemiology, clinical characteristics, and risk factors associated with common respiratory infections in the immunocompromised patient population, including COVID-19, RSV, and pneumococcal disease. They’ll explain why immunocompromised patients are more susceptible to vaccine-preventable respiratory pathogens, review the significant impact of lower respiratory tract infections, and identify the role of vaccines in potentially preventing respiratory infections, including the recommendations for each: COVID-19, RSV, and pneumococcal disease, with emphasis in the immunocompromised patient population.
