They’ll explain why immunocompromised patients are more susceptible to vaccine-preventable respiratory pathogens, review the significant impact of lower respiratory tract infections, and identify the role of vaccines in potentially preventing respiratory infections, including the recommendations for each: COVID-19, RSV, and pneumococcal disease, with emphasis in the immunocompromised patient population.
