Service Excellence Award Criteria

This Award is given to an individual who consistently delivers outstanding customer service and helps to create a culture of service excellence. This award is intended for employees of all NASP corporate member organizations (does not include pharmacists, technicians, or executives) who provide exemplary service and support to customers – both internal and external – regardless of company type.

Service excellence is the act of going beyond customer expectations and delivering an industry- leading experience that really wows your customers, fosters loyalty, enhances costs effectiveness and defines an organization’s long-term success.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Nominees will be evaluated according to criteria in the following four categories:

SUPERIOR PATIENT CARE (60%)

INNOVATION AND LEADERSHIP (20%)

INDUSTRY ADVOCATE (10%) 

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT (10%) 

QUALIFICATIONS

Nominee must be a support staff employee (not a pharmacist or pharmacy technician) of a NASP corporate member in good standing

SELECTION PROCESS

The NASP Membership Committee will use a blinded, unbiased, and weighted scoring process according to the defined evaluation criteria.

AWARD

The Service Excellence Award will be presented at the inSPire2026 conference on September 23. The recipient will receive a trophy, complimentary 2027 conference registration, and recognition on the NASP website, in a press release, in The Advocate quarterly newsletter, social media, and other NASP communication materials.
