PGY2 Residency in Specialty Pharmacy Administration & Leadership, Northwell Health-Vivo Health Pharmacy, Great Neck, NY

The purpose of the PGY2 Residency Program in Specialty Pharmacy Administration and Leadership at Vivo Health Pharmacy is to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists in specialized areas of practice. This program provides residents with opportunities to function independently as practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporating both into the provision of patient care or other advanced practice settings. This accredited program will allow the resident to gain experience in the areas of ambulatory pharmacy leadership, clinical management, specialty pharmacy accreditation, operations, medication safety, pharmacy informatics, finance, contracting, marketing, and business development. Residents who successfully complete this program are prepared for advanced patient care, academic, or other specialized positions, along with board certification.
