PGY-1 Community Based Pharmacy Residency (Specialty Pharmacy), Walgreens / University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), San Francisco, CA

The program is based at a unique Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy situated within the UCSF medical campus. Through curriculum designed utilizing variety of specialty, retail and management location, the resident receives training in management of patients with health conditions such as HIV, Hepatitis C, organ transplants, oncology and other diseases states such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and cardiovascular disease. This program ensures that resident attains a well-rounded experience and graduates as a leader in community pharmacy.
