Essential Elements of Specialty Pharmacy Practice Course (formerly CSP Exam Prep Course)

Specialty pharmacy is the fastest growing segment of pharmacy practice today and will continue for the foreseeable future. Specialty pharmacy impacts only a small percent of the population; however, the diseases and drug therapies are very complex and require a higher level of knowledge compared to more traditional diseases and drug therapies.

Developed by CSP-credentialed clinical pharmacists, this comprehensive one-day course is designed for learners at any level: from professionals exploring a career in specialty pharmacy, to practicing specialty pharmacists seeking a review of the latest treatment guidelines and evidence-based practices, to those preparing for the specialty pharmacist credentialing exam. Key topics include inflammatory diseases, hepatitis, oncology and hematology, multiple sclerosis, neurology, pulmonary diseases, cystic fibrosis, operations, and more. The course also offers supplemental learning resources and tools.

The Essential Elements of Specialty Pharmacy Practice Course is updated every year at the inSPire Conference to provide the most current content. Learners have the option to attend the live, in-person course (offers live CE credit) at the inSPire Conference or to take the self-paced course offering home study CE credit that is released after the live event. The 2025 online course is NOW available. For more information and to start learning, please click here.
