Alexandra leads the Specialty Health Solutions team within the Pharmacy and Healthcare Strategy division of Walgreen Co. In this role, Alex leads cross functional efforts to develop the clinical product and solution strategy for specialty conditions and create a three year plan to achieve associated P&L goals.

The goal of the Specialty Health Solutions team is to be the leader in providing seamless specialty pharmacy patient care through insights driven solutions that create value for all. We are proud of our deep relationships within the community through patient advocacy organizations. We are committed to taking an agile approach to product development to meet the needs of our patients – no matter where they are on their journey.

Alexandra joined Walgreen Co. in 2000 as a pharmacy technician and has previous experiences in store operations, field leadership as well as health plan and health systems relationship. Most recently, Alexandra served as the Director of Patient Outcomes Performance leading the design, build and deployment of clinical care programs for chronic conditions focused on medication adherence and gaps in care. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Alexandra has served on various non-profit boards, including Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank.
