Certified Specialty Pharmacist Exam Prep Course
NASP will host a one-day preparation course for pharmacists studying for the Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) examination. The course will cover all essential topics to effectively prepare pharmacists interested in earning the CSP credential. CE credit is available to those who successfully complete the course.

Recent studies suggest that nearly 1 million adults in the US are living with multiple sclerosis (MS), a chronic disease of the central nervous system which can result in a significant impact on quality of life. This session will provide attendees with an overview of MS, with a primary focus on treatment with disease-modifying therapies (DMT) and how specialty pharmacists can help patients manage these medications to achieve optimal treatment outcomes. In addition to clinical pearls related to MS and the DMTs used in treatment, the session will also provide a brief overview of other common neurology medications used in disease states outside of MS to help provide pharmacists with the tools they need to prepare for this section of the CSP exam. | |
