Annual Conference
Each year in the fall, the specialty pharmacy industry’s best and brightest come together at inSPire—our annual education and networking event. Change makers convene to share best practices, make new connections and renew old friendships, enhance their knowledge through best-in-class educational programs, and help shape the future of specialty pharmacy. The meeting offers keynote speakers, educational sessions and CPE, CNE and CLE credits, conference workshops, NASP industry awards, exhibits, symposiums, and opportunities to learn from and network with industry decision-makers and experts. Member benefits include NASP Bucks which can be used to offset the cost of registration, members-only discounted registration fees, and preferred speaking opportunities.

Essential Elements of Specialty Pharmacy Practice Course-online (formerly the Online CSP Exam Preparation Course)
The Essential Elements of Specialty Pharmacy Practice Course is developed by CSP-credentialed clinical pharmacists and is designed for learners at any level: from professionals exploring a career in specialty pharmacy, to practicing specialty pharmacists seeking a review of the latest treatment guidelines and evidence-based practices, to those preparing for the specialty pharmacist credentialing exam. Corporate members receive complimentary online courses—the number of courses varies by corporate membership level and package. NASP members also receive a discounted rate of $165 for the online Essential Elements of Specialty Pharmacy Practice Course vs. $350 for non-members.

Certification
NASP is the only association that offers the Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) credential. The credential is governed by the Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board (SPCB) and is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Individuals who earn the CSP have demonstrated knowledge of the professional domains that encompass the tasks and knowledge required of a specialty pharmacist professional in various practice settings. NASP members receive a $50 discount on initial CSP certification application fees and a $25 discount on recertification application fees.

State Level Legislative Monitoring and Tracking Monthly Reports
Our State Level Legislation Monitoring & Tracking monthly report encompasses all 50 states and includes pharmacy industry specific state level tracking, analysis, and reporting including State Boards of Pharmacy activity. Reports are delivered monthly directly to your email inbox at the end of each month. The State Level Report is complimentary for Palladium, Platinum, Gold, and Silver corporate member levels. Bronze corporate members who upgrade to Silver receive the report at no cost, as well as all the additional benefits offered at the Silver level. Corporate members who upgrade from Nickel to Bronze level or from Copper to Nickel level may purchase the State Level Report for $2,000 per year and receive the additional benefits offered at the upgraded levels. NASP Corporate Member Recognition
Corporate members are recognized on the NASP website and in the inSPire conference workbook. Each month, NASP highlights corporate members, their unique contributions and positive impact on the specialty patient care journey. Companies participating in NASP’s Spotlight: Corporate Members of the Month program are featured on the NASP website, Member Portal, social media channels, and in an all-member email.

NASP Committee Participation
Committee participation allows members to connect with other NASP members, foster collaboration and cooperation, help formulate national policy, design educational program offerings, and shape the future of specialty pharmacy. NASP has nine committees: Clinical Outcomes, Customer Experience, Education, Government Affairs, Legal (restricted to legal professionals), Marketing, Membership, Student Association of Specialty Pharmacy (SASP), and Technology. Committee participation is restricted to NASP members only. Committees are multi-stakeholder in composition and accept new members throughout the year.

Eligible for NASP Awards
Each year at the inSPire Conference , NASP celebrates organizations and individuals who go above and beyond to serve specialty pharmacy patients and support the industry. Industry awards include Caregiver of the Year, Distinguished Service, Manufacturer of the Year, Specialty Pharmacy of the Year, Specialty Pharmacist of the Year, Specialty Pharmacy Technician of the Year, Specialty Pharmacy Service Excellence, and Strategic Channel Partner of the Year. NASP members are eligible to submit industry award nominations and be nominated for these awards.

NASP Podcast
NASP is proud to produce the NASP Podcast in partnership with the Pharmacy Podcast Network (PPN). The NASP Podcast provides featured guests the opportunity to connect with listeners and listeners with the opportunity to tune in and learn at their convenience. PPN’s network of podcasts gathers approximately 40,000–50,000+ listeners per month with over 5 million total downloads/listens since 2009. Podcasts are distributed through major directories including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, and TuneIn. Members can listen free of charge, and corporate members can be featured on one complimentary podcast per year.

Lunch & Learn Webinars
The Lunch & Learn program for NASP members includes one-hour presentations held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. These presentations feature clinical and technical educational updates and product and service informational programs beneficial for specialty pharmacy industry stakeholders. All NASP members can register, and previously recorded programs are available on the NASP member portal. Corporate members may be featured in one Lunch & Learn program per year at no additional cost.

Lunch with a Lawyer Webinars
Lunch with a Lawyer webinars are available to all NASP members. The presentations occur quarterly and feature NASP members who are legal professionals sharing information about specialty pharmacy laws, regulations, and legal topics.

NASP KnowledgeCast
The NASP KnowledgeCast offers NASP members exclusive access to educational content created by our Corporate Members. This innovative benefit allows corporate members to share valuable insights through pre-recorded webinars members can access anytime, anywhere- no live audience required. All approved KnowledgeCast sessions are hosted within the NASP Member Portal offering continuous, on-demand access to timely and relevant updates on clinical developments, product innovations, emerging trends, and best practices in specialty pharmacy and patient care. KnowledgeCast sessions provide members with a convenient way to learn at their own pace while fostering increased connectivity. NASP University Education / CE Programs
NASP members have unlimited access to the NASP Education Center and the NASP catalog of 75+ CE programs offering CE credit for pharmacists, clinical nurses, and pharmacy technicians. Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) candidates and those with the CSP credential who need to re-certify also find the NASP catalog of programs extremely valuable. NASP University houses all educational activities in one easy to use platform and offers additional tracking and reporting features. NASP members are eligible to be a NASP University program presenter through an application process. Specialty Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program
The Specialty Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program prepares pharmacy technicians to excel in the dynamic and rapidly evolving specialty pharmacy practice setting. Participants gain essential knowledge in specialty medication intake and benefits verification, case management and patient support services, medication access, and ongoing medication adherence and safe use. The program emphasizes the technician’s vital role in coordinating care, ensuring accuracy, and supporting positive patient outcomes for those managing complex or chronic conditions. The program offers 10 hours of home study pharmacy technician CE credit. Upon completion, participants earn an ACPE accredited certificate (CP), demonstrating their advanced skills and commitment to excellence in specialty pharmacy practice. NASP Members receive a discounted fee of $90 vs $199 for non-members.

Specialty Pharmacist Certificate Program
The Specialty Pharmacist Certificate Program provides pharmacists with the knowledge and skills to excel in managing specialty medications and complex patient therapies. This program covers disease clinical state management, patient education, medication safety management, drug access and reimbursement, and other practice fundamentals geared towards preparing pharmacists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the evolving specialty pharmacy landscape. Upon completion, pharmacists earn 15 hours of home study CE credit and an ACPE accredited certificate (CP) demonstrating their expertise and commitment to excellence in specialty pharmacy practice. NASP Members receive a discounted fee of $175 vs $375 for non-members.

Essential Elements of Specialty Pharmacy Practice Knowledge Assessment
Test your knowledge and readiness with this comprehensive practice test designed to reinforce key concepts from the Elements of Specialty Pharmacy Practice course. This assessment covers essential topics including clinical and operational best practices, prescription intake workflow and fulfillment, and optimizing outcomes. These assessments are ideal for pharmacists preparing for specialty pharmacy certification or seeking to assess their understanding of current specialty pharmacy practices providing a realistic review experience and detailed feedback to guide further study. NASP members receive a discounted fee of $75 per assessment vs $125 for non-members.

Taylor & Francis | Current Medical Research & Opinion
CMRO is a 50-year-old, MEDLINE-indexed international original research medical journal published by Taylor & Francis and is a NASP partnered journal. CMRO publishes research focused on new and existing drugs and therapies, best practices in patient care, developments in diagnostic medicine and medical technology, and innovations in medical and scientific publishing. NASP members may join the CMRO editorial board and serve as peer reviewers. Accepted abstracts from the inSPire Conference are published Open Access as supplements.

NASP Patient Satisfaction Survey Program
In collaboration with the SullivanLuallin Group (SLG), NASP has developed an industry-standard patient satisfaction survey program addressing patient engagement and satisfaction. SLG works with more than 2,500 healthcare organizations, and its surveys are distributed to over one million patients annually. NASP corporate members at the Nickel level, benefit package 1 and above, can participate in the standard survey program with data reports and benchmarking benefits at no additional cost.

The NASP Mentorship Program connects experienced specialty pharmacy industry professionals with emerging leaders or those interested in exploring new roles within the industry, to foster personal growth, professional development, and career advancement. Through guided one-on-one relationships, mentors share their knowledge, insights, and real-world experience to help mentees navigate challenges, set meaningful goals, and enhance their skills.
