Political Action Committee
A political action committee (PAC) enables employees or members of groups – such as select personnel of a trade association’s member companies and professional organizations – to pool their political contributions to support a common goal.
Elected officials in Washington are constantly considering policies that will have a direct impact on our industry and on the economy as a whole. It is crucial that NASP participate in the process of electing those lawmakers who are supportive of specialty pharmacy practice and the needs of specialty pharmacy patients. NASP’s federal PAC and political giving strategy helps to ensure that we have the resources necessary to support the appropriate candidates and to have our voice heard in the legislative decision-making process.
NASP’s bipartisan Political Action Committee – NASP-PAC – supports federal Congressional candidates who champion pro-specialty pharmacy patient and specialty pharmacy policies and legislation.
