The Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy and Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) PGY-1 Community-Based Residency program focuses on advancing residents’ abilities to manage patients with complex specialty conditions and develop innovative patient care services. Through direct patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, research, teaching, and practice management experiences, residents develop the expertise needed for careers in specialty pharmacy, ambulatory care, academia, or other advanced clinical practice settings.
