The Baylor Scott & White PGY2 Specialty Pharmacy Residency provides advanced training in the health system specialty pharmacy setting to provide pharmacists with the clinical and administrative skills necessary to provide outcomes-driven, high quality patient care while achieving and maintaining pharmacy accreditation standards and advancing the profession. Specialty pharmacy focuses on providing supportive services to patients who are on high-risk prescription medications used to treat complex medical conditions. Unique administrative opportunities also exist within the specialty pharmacy space.
