Submission of COVID-19 vaccination/booster records or negative COVID-19 test results are no longer required for attendance at the NASP 2022 Annual Meeting & Expo.

On August 31, 2022, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration amended the emergency use authorizations (EUAs) of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine to authorize bivalent formulations of the vaccines for use as a single booster dose at least two months following primary or booster vaccination. In turn the CDC updated their recommendations and requirements to be Up to Date with your COVID-19 vaccines.

At this time, due to the limited availability of the bivalent boosters and the close proximity of the announcement of the updates and start of the NASP Annual Meeting & Expo, it is not possible or reasonable to expect attendees to receive an updated booster in time for the conference nor is it possible or reasonable due to cost and scheduling to expect all attendees to receive negative COVID-19 test results in time for the conference.

Our commitment to protecting the health and safety of our attendees has not wavered. With that in mind, we are asking for your help. As a community of dedicated healthcare professionals, the expectation is that you will share in the responsibility of protecting yourself and others.

Sanitizer stations are available throughout the hotel and conference facilities. Frequent handwashing is always encouraged. Please do what makes you feel most comfortable. Please feel free to wear a mask, limit handshaking and social distance. If you are not feeling well, please do NOT attend.

We apologize for any confusion and sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
